  • A camera with shutter-priority mode.

Props

  • A deep puddle

Conditions

  • Heavy rain

Settings

  • Shutter-priority mode at 1/500 or faster. This to eliminate motion blur.

Instructions

  • Cover your camera so it doesn’t get wet, you hand may be enough.
  • Position your camera low and close to the puddle.
  • Take a lot of photographs. You composition largely depends on the random location of raindrops, so take a lot to stack odds.
